A request is not a message
Your network already has what you need.
Say what you need. WEFT finds the path: through the relationships and communities you already have, and each person it reaches decides for themselves.

Maya said yes; their path is now a conversation. Jonah and Priya answer in their own time, each for themselves. What happens beyond each person stays private until they agree.
- One request
- Never a message blasted to everyone.
- A bounded few
- A few well-placed people. Never a list of everyone.
- A yes at every step
- Declining reveals nothing.
Where WEFT is used
Four things people actually ask for.
- “Who on this street has a ladder I could borrow for an hour?”
- It reaches the few neighbours you pick, all at once. Each answers for themselves, and nobody else is told you asked.
- “Who has done this course before and would tell me what it was really like?”
- It reaches people in the same cohort who said they are open to being asked, as the Persona they use there and not the one they use at work.
- “Who has hired for this role and would look at how I have written it?”
- It reaches a bounded few in your professional rooms, each of whom decides for themselves. No list of who ignored it exists, here or anywhere.
- “Who can be at the hospital on Thursday morning?”
- It reaches the handful of people you would actually ask, and the ones who cannot simply say so. Declining is a sentence, never a mark against anybody.
For organizations
Make the network you already convene genuinely useful.
Universities, companies and associations already hold the relationships. WEFT gives those communities a way to route a real need to the few people who can answer it, without a directory of everyone, and without the institution ever seeing what anybody asked.
- A cohort
- A department
- A chapter
- Membership becomes useful
- Not a list. A way to be helped.
- Earlier cohorts, reachable
- By the people who came after them, on purpose.
- Reach without a directory
- Requests go to a bounded few. Member lists are opt-in.
- The institution never watches
- It convenes the room, and nothing more.
How a request travels
Three steps you take. Then every path answers for itself.
Every request, in order
01Need
Say what you need, in your own words
You write the ask. Once you confirm it, the wording locks: everyone who sees this request reads exactly your words.
02Scope
Decide where it may travel
Choose which communities and connections may carry it, and how much of you travels with it. Nothing moves before you do.
03Paths
Choose who to ask
WEFT suggests a small, well-placed set of people for this request, never a list of everyone. You pick who to ask.
Then, for each person, on their own
04Consent
Each person decides for themselves
Everyone you chose is asked at once and answers alone. Before a yes they see only your words and what your scope allows. A no is quiet.
05Conversation
Help arrives as a conversation
A yes opens that one path into a conversation between the two of you. Every other path keeps its own answer.
Paths are independent. See it for yourself.
One person’s answer never starts, stops, or reveals another’s. Until a person chooses, being asked is all that ever happens to them.
Try it: answer for one path
Three people were asked at the same time. Decide for Priya, and watch what happens to everyone else: nothing.

Priya has not answered yet. Neither Maya's yes nor Jonah's silence hurries her.
People, in context
One person. The right Persona for each place.
In WEFT you act through a Persona: how the same you appears within one community. Your neighbourhood group and your workplace never blur into one identity, and nothing crosses between them unless you decide it should.

Sharing here: tools they can lend, and weekend availability.
- Changes with the room:
- the name shown, the badge, what is shared.
- Never changes:
- one human, one account. No score, no followers.
Trust, by construction
Not promises. Product behaviour.
Each of these is something the system does, shown the way it does it.
No directory of everyone
Nobody can look through everyone. Inside a community you share, people choose whether they can be listed or found. Outside it, finding someone takes their exact name. A request travels only along the few paths you chose.
Consent before contact
Nobody is contacted until they agree. Before their yes, a person sees your request's words and what your scope allows, nothing more.
Your words stay yours
A confirmed request is locked word for word. However far it travels, every person reads exactly what you wrote, never a summary.
Declines are quiet
The asker sees one calm phrase and nothing else. No reason, no visible timing, nothing to read into. A no never becomes a signal about you.
Context stays contextual
What you share in one community never crosses into another on its own. Moving anything is your explicit decision, every time.
Notes only you can read
Private notes are encrypted on your device before they are saved. WEFT stores only scrambled text it cannot read, and notes never shape routing.
